The whole thing, in detail.
Every part of the product, what it does, and what it does not do. 28 features, the honest limits, and exactly what happens between a customer tapping your link and money reaching your bank. Nothing here is a teaser for a higher tier, because there isn't one.
Your ordering page
The page your customers actually order from, and what it does for them.
A page of your own
Your name, your logo, your food, your prices, and nobody else's restaurant on it.
Customers open a link and order. There is no app for them to download and no account they have to make. It loads fast on a phone, which is where nearly all of it happens, and it can be saved to a home screen like an app if they want.
Five looks, and your own color
Pick a style, set your accent color, and the whole page follows it.
You are choosing a look, not building a website. The layout is fixed on purpose - it is the one we know converts - so there is no way to accidentally end up with a page that does not work on a phone. One of the five follows the customer's own light or dark setting.
See changes before anyone else does
The editor shows your real page updating as you type.
It is not a mock-up that might look different once saved: it is your actual storefront, previewing edits you have not committed. Nothing is public until you save, and customers cannot reach a preview.
Your own web address
Point a domain you own at your page and that is the only address customers see.
Once it is verified, every link we make uses your address - order tracking pages, receipts, QR codes, all of it. We handle the certificate, and an apex domain gets its www twin set up alongside it so nobody hits a security warning.
A QR code and a link, ready to use
For the counter, the window, the table, your Instagram bio and your Google listing.
Generated for you, no design work needed. The Google listing is the one that matters most: putting your link there is worth more to your order count than everything else put together, and we walk you through it.
Taking orders
What happens between a customer paying and them walking out with food.
A live order board
New orders appear on their own, with a sound, without anyone refreshing.
It shows the food, the options, the customer's note, the pickup time and the total. You accept, cook, and mark it ready. It is a web page, so it runs on the laptop, phone or tablet you already own.
Four ways to be told, and email is in all of them
A tablet by the pass, a kitchen printer, both, or email on its own.
There is deliberately no printer-only option. Paper jams, runs out and gets unplugged, and an inbox has no moving parts. Your own login address is always on the recipient list and cannot be removed, and you can add up to eight other inboxes.
Kitchen printing
Tickets print in the kitchen the second an order is paid for.
The printer talks to us over your internet on its own - no computer or tablet in between and nothing to install. Tickets carry a rolling number so your line can call them out. If the printer stops answering, orders keep arriving by email and your dashboard tells you it is offline.
A tracking page for every customer
They get a link showing where their order is, so nobody stands at your counter asking.
No login needed - the link is the key. It shows your address, your phone number as digits they can read, and directions if we know where you are.
Refunds and cancellations
Refund a whole order or a single item off it, in a couple of taps.
Every change is recorded with a time and a reason, so a dispute weeks later has an actual timeline behind it rather than somebody's memory. Refunds are capped at what was paid, and a failed one is shown to you rather than swallowed.
Order history you can search
Every order you have ever taken, searchable, with what happened to it.
Including what was printed and when. When a customer says they ordered something they did not, this is the answer.
Money
Who pays what, where it goes, and whose bank account it lands in.
No monthly bill and no commission
We take no percentage of your sales and send you no invoice.
A $500 day and a $50 day cost you the same: nothing. A small service fee is added to the customer's ticket at checkout instead, shown to them as its own line before they pay. That is what funds the platform.
The money is yours from the moment it is paid
Card payments go to your own account and into your own bank.
We never hold your takings. Payments run through Stripe on an account in your name, and payouts follow Stripe's schedule straight to your bank. Nobody here can sit on your money, including us.
The fee is disclosed, always
Customers see it before they pay and again on the receipt.
It is around $1 to $2 on a normal order and only scales up on unusually large ones. It is generated as its own line and cannot be edited out of a receipt by anyone, including us.
Your customer list
The part that is actually the point: an asset you own and can take with you.
A name and number from every order
Built automatically as you trade, with what each person has ordered before.
This is the thing a delivery app never gives you. It is the difference between renting access to your own customers and owning the relationship.
Download it whenever you want, including on the way out
Export the lot to a spreadsheet, any time, no questions.
Holding your list hostage would defeat the entire point of the product, so there is nothing to ask for and nobody to ring.
Bring a list you already have
Upload a spreadsheet of customers and it merges with what you have.
It shows you what it will do before it does it, and an import can be undone - anyone who has since ordered is kept, so undoing never puts a hole in your own order history.
Tags, filters and saved groups
Group your regulars, your lunch trade, whoever you like.
Search by what they spent, when they last came in, how often, or a tag you made up. Save a search and it stays there.
Email your own customers
Your list, your message, sent by you.
We only ever email your customers about their own order - the confirmation, the ready notice, a refund. We never advertise to your list, and we do not sell it or share it. Everything we send carries a working unsubscribe, and anyone who opts out stays opted out.
Running the place
The parts that matter once you have been open a few months.
Numbers that answer a question
What sells, when you are busy, what a customer is worth, and how many visits become orders.
Including how people found you and where they gave up. Reckoned in your own timezone, so 'yesterday' means what you mean by yesterday.
Logins for your staff
Everyone gets their own, by invite.
A shared login means your order history cannot tell you who did what when something is disputed. Invites are single-use, and we never store a usable copy of one.
More than one location
Run several under one brand, switch between them, and report on one, some or all.
Each location keeps its own menu, hours and orders. You are not forced to run them as one restaurant or as strangers.
Help you can actually reach
Written answers, a ticket that goes to a person, and a call if it needs one.
The help center is open while you are still setting up, which is when people need it most. Tickets are read by a person, not a bot with a script.
Run orders on a tablet by the pass, or on the phone in your pocket.
Ask us what setup to run and the answer is always the same: a screen by the pass showing nothing but orders, with email arriving underneath it as the backup. If you already have a spare tablet or an old iPad, that is the setup - it costs you nothing and it works today.
A tablet on the counter, plus email
About $75 for the tablet and stand, bought from Amazon yourself. Already have a spare tablet? Use it, and this costs nothing.
This is the setup we recommend and the one that works best in a real kitchen: one screen that does nothing but show orders, so a ticket is never competing with somebody's texts. Email keeps arriving underneath it as the backup.
You need: A screen you can leave by the kitchen, and a plug.
Email only, on what you already own
Free. Nothing to buy, nobody to talk to.
The whole product works this way, and plenty of restaurants run on it happily. Sign up tonight, take orders in the morning, never speak to us. The catch is that an order is one notification among all the others on a phone somebody is also using for everything else.
You need: A phone, tablet or laptop you already have, and somebody watching that inbox during service.
A kitchen printer as well
You buy the printer. We do not sell them and make nothing on them.
Paper tickets on the rail, the way a kitchen already works. Email still arrives as the backup when the roll runs out.
You need: A cloud-connected receipt printer and ten minutes to pair it during setup.
It is a recommendation, not a requirement. Use a tablet you already have, or skip the screen entirely and let orders arrive as an email on the phone or laptop you already own. Both are free and both are the whole product working.
- The software is free to you. There is no monthly fee and no card to sign up. We make our money from a small service fee on the customer's bill, and the customer sees it on its own line.
- You set the whole thing up yourself. Nothing to book, nobody to wait for. The one part we do for you is the menu: send it over and we type it in, free, because that is the bit people give up on.
- What we tell everybody to do is put a screen by the pass, so orders are not competing with somebody's texts. If you have a spare tablet or an old iPad already, use that - it costs you nothing.
- If you do not have one, the tablet and stand we recommend come to about $75 from Amazon. You buy them yourself at Amazon's price. We do not sell them and make nothing on them.
- You are not forced into any of it. Orders can come to you as an email on the phone or laptop you already have. That is free too, and it is the whole thing working.
- Want tickets printing in the kitchen too? Buy a cloud printer and pair it during setup. That one is always yours to buy - we do not sell printers.
- Right now the tablet is not an app. It opens your orders page in its browser, like any website. Your own laptop or phone works the same way.
- An Android app for the tablet is coming, and it will be free. You download it onto the tablet you already have. Nothing you set up now gets thrown away.
You set it up yourself, and there is nothing to book.
- You set it up yourself, in the order the screen asks for it. There is no call to book and nobody to wait for.
- Send us your menu and we will build it for you, free. It is the longest part of setup and the one people give up on, so it is the part we do.
- Everything else takes minutes each: your hours, where orders reach you, and connecting Stripe so you get paid.
- Stuck or something is broken? Message us and a person answers. Support is the part we do not automate.
What you are not asked for
- The software costs your restaurant nothing. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no card at signup.
- No contract, no minimum number of orders, and no trial that turns into a bill.
- The customer list you build is yours. Export it whenever you like, including on the way out.
- The tablet and stand are bought by you, from Amazon, at Amazon's price. We do not resell them and make nothing on them.
- Nothing is required. A phone or laptop you already own is a complete setup, and orders arrive by email on it.
- A kitchen printer is optional and you buy that one too. Most restaurants never do.
The software is free to your restaurant. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no card to sign up, and no contract. A small service fee sits on the customer's bill at checkout, shown to them as its own line, and that is the only money we make.
Android tablet
around $50A 10-inch tablet that sits by the pass and shows new orders as they come in. It is the screen your kitchen watches during service.
See it on AmazonCounter stand
around $25An adjustable stand that holds the tablet up at the counter so nobody has to prop it against the till.
See it on AmazonFor now the tablet runs the website version - your dashboard in its browser. Nothing to install, and the same dashboard opens on any laptop or phone you already own. An Android app you can download onto the tablet is coming, and it will be free too.
Coming: the Android app
An Android app for the tablet is coming. It will be free, you will download it onto the same tablet, and it does the same job as the website does today - just quicker to open. Nothing you set up now has to be redone.
What actually happens when someone orders.
In order, from them finding you to the money being in your bank.
- 1
A customer finds you
They search your name, tap Order Online on your Google listing, scan the QR on your counter, or follow the link in your bio. Your page opens - your logo, your menu, your prices.
- 2
They order
They pick their food, choose options, leave a note if they want, and give a name, a phone number and optionally an email. No account, no app.
- 3
They pay
By card at checkout, before the order ever reaches your board. The service fee is shown as its own line before they pay. Card money goes to your own account, not ours.
- 4
You are told, within seconds
The order appears on your board with a sound, lands in every inbox on your list, and prints in the kitchen if you have a printer. All three, not one of them.
- 5
They can see where it is
They get a tracking link with your address, your phone number and directions. Nobody has to stand at your counter asking.
- 6
You cook it and mark it ready
They are emailed the moment you do. If something is off, you can mark one item unavailable and refund just that line.
- 7
They collect
You mark it collected. If they never turn up, that is recorded too, with a time.
- 8
You keep the customer
Their name, number and what they ordered are on your list from that moment, and the list is yours to download whenever you want.
- 9
The money reaches your bank
On Stripe's payout schedule, from your own account. We never held it.
What it does not do.
Every platform has a gap. Ours is here rather than in the small print, because finding it after you have signed up is worse for both of us.
No delivery
This is pickup only. Customers collect from you. Plenty of restaurants run this alongside a delivery app and move their regulars over slowly. Delivery is being built, and it is in the list below rather than in this one, because it is not something you can use today.
Every order is paid by card, online
There is no pay-at-counter option and no cash on collection. The card is charged at checkout, before the ticket reaches your kitchen, which is also what pays for the software.
No table service
No table numbers, no ordering at the table, no splitting a bill between seats.
No reservations
We do not take bookings for your dining room. The only calendar here is for calls with us.
It does not replace your till
This sits beside whatever you already use for walk-ins. It does not run your front of house.
No text messages
Everything to your customers goes by email. There is no SMS.
No loyalty or points scheme
You get the customer list and can export it. There is no stamp card built in.
No stock, rotas or accounting
It counts orders and customers, not inventory or staff hours.
If you need one of these, tell us anyway. What owners ask for is how we decide what to build next, and we would rather hear it than have you sign up and find out. Send us a message.
What is being built.
Not available today. Listed because owners ask, and because a page that never mentions them reads as though the answer is no forever. No dates, because we would only be guessing at one.
Apps for iPhone and AndroidComing soon
Your order board is a website today, and it already opens on any tablet or phone you point at it - there is nothing to install and nothing held back from it. Native apps for iPhone and Android are being built, so it sits on the home screen like any other app, keeps you signed in, and can wake a tablet that has gone to sleep. Both will be free.
DeliveryComing soon
Pickup is the whole product today. Delivery is being built alongside the apps, so one menu and one order board can do both and you are not running your pickup orders in one place and your delivery orders in another. Until it lands, the limit above is the honest answer.
Nothing here is required for what you sign up for today, and nothing you pay changes when one of them arrives. Everything above this section works now.
That is the whole product.
No higher tier, no feature held back, no monthly bill and no cut of your sales. Create the account, add your menu, put the link on your Google listing.
